3M double-sided tape is becoming increasingly popular, but many people still don't know how to use it correctly. For example, during the process of using 3M double-sided tape, many users simply tear off the protective film and press a few times thinking it's that simple. 1. Before applying the tape, keep the substrate, tape, and application roller at the same temperature for a period of time.

2. Before applying the tape, make sure that the plate and the application roller are clean.

3. If applying the tape on a sleeve, use low air pressure to prevent sleeve deformation.

4. The joint of the double-sided tape should be staggered with the joint of the plate.

5. When applying the tape, use a rubber scraper to evenly apply the tape to the roller in a parallel sweeping motion. Avoid leaving air bubbles between the tape and the roller surface. If there are any air bubbles, use a needle to puncture and eliminate them.

8. When removing the plate from the tape, the angle between the plate and the tape should not exceed 90 degrees.

9. Leave around 5mm at the plate joint area. Using 3M 1600 electrical insulation tape can effectively prevent ink contamination caused by plate interface curling during plate wiping, and it is also cost-effective.

10. Excessive and repeated use of double-sided tape can result in poor register, especially when a set of plates includes new and old ones.
